About Us
Cultivating Connections Montana’s work is about ‘Building Community Through Food’. Acting as a catalyst, our goal is to empower youth, grow food and share knowledge, foster well-being, provide mentorship & job training, and bring people together through education, participation, and celebration. In a world where there is so much to disagree about, food is something we can all agree on, and it’s a place to start a new conversation.
Practices
Every purchase helps CCMT Build Community Through Food by supporting our Youth Farm Internship, GIVEBACK! Initiative, MAYDAY! Gardens, and Greenhouse Share programs. Teenage interns gain hands-on experience growing food, practicing sustainability, preparing and sharing Montana-grown foods, serving their neighbors, and building meaningful connections with themselves and one another. Through our GIVEBACK! Initiative programs, we share locally grown and prepared foods with community members and partner organizations. Our MAYDAY! Gardens program provides practical gardening resources and support to individuals and families, and our Greenhouse Share expands access to growing space, supplies, and learning opportunities so more people can experience the joy of growing food.
